Fishing Conditions
As we speak, the flows are being bumped to 800 cfs below Navajo Dam, and may be bumped higher. These bumps can cause the fish to get tight-lipped for a day or two. Once the flows remain steady, fish will begin to eat better. They will also spread out throughout the wade and float sections of the river, and you may find them in new spots.
Tactics may need to change, such as fishing deep worm/small midge rigs, throwing big dries, or hucking big streamers.
