Fishing Conditions

This is going to be one of the few river options for a bit as it’s a tailwater.

Expect nymphing to be the most productive.  Flows have been bumped so you may need a bit more weight, but less stealth now. Try out a Euro nymph rig, enjoy life, and have fun no matter where you are, right?

Patterns/Bug

Midges 18-24: Sidewinder Midge Pupa, Tav’s Big Mac, Black Midge Pupa 18-22.

Mayfly Nymphs: Thread BaetisJujubaetis, Split Back BWO, Killer Mayfly 18-24. Juan’s Sniper Baetis 20-24.

Attractors: San Juan Worms, Annelids, Pheasant Tails 16-20, Orange Crush Jig 14-16, Duracell 12-14, Frenchie 12-16, Tung Soft Spot 12-16.
