Fishing Conditions
Holy moly, are they going to keep the flows on the lower Dolores a little higher this summer at 50 cfs? Who knows, but here is to hoping. If the flows hang on at this flow for a while. Fish will spread out and settle into a good feeding rhythm. They will still be spooky, but it’s a really cool area to fish regardless.
This is mayfly water, BUT hoppers will be around too.

Nymphs: Killer Mayfly 20-24, Pheasant Tails 18-22, Black Flash Midge Pupa 18-22, Tav’s Big Mac Pupa, RS-2 18-22, Splitback BWO Nymph 18-22, Juan’s Slim Shady 20-24.
Dries: Parachute Adams 20-24, Parachute, Sproat Midge 20-24, Bunny Midge 20-24, Griffith Gnats 18-24.
Hoppers: Morrish Hopper 8-12, Sweetgrass Hopper 12-14, Lil Hopper Juan 12-14.
