Fishing Conditions

Flows are coming up with runoff, but the irrigation releases out of Rio Grande Reservoir have stopped.  We will see another cooling trend over the next week, with snow and rain possible. Streamer and nymph fishing is the game right now, but bugs will be showing in the next few weeks.

Patterns/Bug

Nymphs: Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12, 20 Incher Stone 10-14, Pheasant Tail and variations 16-20, Prince Nymphs 14-18,  Copper John #14-18 Duracell Jig 14-16.

Dries: Extended Body BWO 18-20, Sparkle Dun 18-20.

Streamers: Scuplinator, Mini Loop Sculpin, The One Sculpin, Sparkle Minnow, Black Buggers #4-8.
