Fishing Conditions

It’s on.  Go fish the San Miguel.  The classic Dry/dropper rig is in order, but watch for hatches of caddis and PMDs as well.  This is fantastic high country freestone river fishing at it’s finest.  Look for breaks in the current in this high gradient river, and you will find fish.

Patterns/Bug

Nymphs:  Prince Nymphs 14-18,  Copper John 12-18, Pheasant Tails 16-20, Pickpocket 12-16, Duracell Jig 12-16, and other Euro Nymph Jigs 10-16.

Dries: Stimulators #12-16,  Chubbies 12-16, RIO’s Big Boned Caddis, Elk Hair Caddis, Parachute Caddis, all caddis14-18.  Parachute Adams 14-18, PMD Hairwing Dun 16-18, PMD Extended Body 16-18.
